The aream Group acquires GME Ventures AG
29 Jan 2026, 09:56

Aream Advisory GmbH acquired 100 per cent of the share capital of GME Ventures AG with effect from 19 December 2025, thereby becoming the sole shareholder. The acquisition includes a project pipeline of ground-mounted photovoltaic systems with an initial capacity of more than 500 MWp, including green energy storage (BESS) in various project phases. “In addition, there is an operationally experienced development team with four employees and a large network in the energy industry“, says Markus Voigt, CEO of the aream Group.

The GME Ventures AG team has many years of expertise across the entire PV project development value chain, including in the areas of technology, contracting, urban land-use planning and asset structuring. The aim of the acquisition and integration is to strengthen project development capacities and accelerate the implementation of the pipeline.

Christian Schnaidt, Fabian Pramel and Jörn Preuth, managing directors of Aream Advisory GmbH, as well as Falko Krause and Michael Reck, members of the executive board of GME Ventures AG, are overseeing the integration into the aream Group.

“The acquisition will enable us to grow faster and, thanks to the acquired project pipeline, increase the potential of future renewable energy plants, especially in combination with battery storage systems, for our institutional investors“, says Voigt, because solar power in combination with battery storage systems will become a key pillar of energy supply in Europe. “If further opportunities for external growth arise, we will also take advantage of them“, says Voigt. The current consolidation phase of the market offers good opportunities here.
