Markus W. Voigt
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Markus W. Voigt founded aream in 2005 and has more than 25 years’ experience in structuring alternative investment funds, transaction management and financing. Before founding the aream Group Markus W. Voigt was CEO and co-founder of Ideenkapital AG – an Asset-Manager for alternative investments that is majority-owned by the Ergo insurance group.

Andreas Ehrbar
Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Andreas Ehrbar is a mechanical engineer bringing a wide range of experience and skillsets to the table from around 20 years of service, including more than five years in wind energy. Before joining aream in 2022 he held various management positions in the service sector, such as, among others, the wind turbine segment of Senvion, Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy and BKW Wind Service GmbH.

Thomas Eisenbarth
Head Business Development

Thomas Eisenbarth has been familiar with asset management of alternative investments for more than 15 years and has worked for aream since it was founded in 2005. Before that, he acquired in-depth expertise in this area, on the board of directors of Ideenkapital and as the Managing Director of Global Skyline. Before that he was responsible for the area of financial services in management consulting for more than 12 years.

Thomas Hopp
General Counsel (LL.M.)

Thomas Hopp is an attorney (member of the Düsseldorf Bar) and has been working for more than 15 years in international M&A, fund structuring and management of companies in the renewable energy sector. He has been working for aream since 2006. The General Counsel and authorized signatory of aream is also managing director of various group companies.

René Kautz
Managing Director aream GmbH / aream Solar Finance GmbH

Since 2010 René Kautz has advised on well over 20 complex transactions with a total volume of around two billion euros in the financing of renewable energies. Kautz gained international expertise through the implementation of infrastructure investments and market entries throughout the Eurozone as well as a one-year stay in Singapore. Previously René Kautz was Senior Vice President of the Project Finance team at Hamburg Commercial Bank.

Patrick Lemcke-Braselmann
Chief Investment Officer (CIO)

Patrick Lemcke-Braselmann has more than 22 years’ experience in the areas of investment and transaction management and financing. His jobs before aream: the Fortress Investment Group (Private Equity), Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (Leverage Finance) and UBS AG (M&A). Mr Lemcke Braselmann has been at aream since 2009 and successfully accompanied a multitude of projects.

Jörn Preuth
Managing Director / Aream Advisory GmbH

Jörn Preuth studied electrical engineering in Aachen and has been working in the field of project development for wind energy projects for 15 years. Before joining aream, he worked as a division manager at project developer Windwärts Energie GmbH and as a regional manager for the strategic orientation of project development at BayWa r.e. Wind GmbH.

Christian Schnaidt
Managing Director / Aream Advisory GmbH

Christian Schnaidt has more than 25 years’ experience in project management and purchasing and knows how to manage the operation of more than 250 MW in the area of renewable energies. Christian Schnaidt has been working at aream since 2008 and is responsible for the technical operations management of assets. Previous career: Conergy, Viag Interkom and Deutsche Bahn.

Bernhard Wilhelm
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Bernhard Wilhelm has more than 25 years’ experience in the areas of finance, accounting and reporting. Before aream he worked at OVB AG as the Head of Project Management and then at Ideenkapital AG as Head of Finance and Administration. Bernhard Wilhelm has been at aream since 2012.

Tim Van den Brande
Managing Director / Aream Institutional Sales

Tim Van den Brande has extensive experience in leading sales positions at various investment banks such as JPMorgan, Merrill Lynch and Kleinwort Benson. Most recently, he was Managing Director at investment manager GEG German Real Estate and Head of Institutional Capital Raising at Munich-based asset manager KGAL Capital.

The Team

Bernd Dellbrügge
Director Institutional Sales

Bernd Dellbrügge, formerly in leading sales positions at companies such as DLE Group AG, Hannover Leasing Investment GmbH and HSH Nordbank AG, will now strengthen the institutional investor division at aream, an asset manager specializing in sustainable infrastructure, together with Tim Van den Brande. aream manages over 2.5 billion euros and focuses on high-yield solar and wind farm investments for institutional investors.

 

Especially as a father of four children, I am highly motivated to fight the advancing global warming for future generations - for me one of the most pressing social challenges of all. With its decades of international experience and in-depth knowledge of the entire life cycle of photovoltaic and wind energy projects, the aream team is the right place for me and I am looking forward to my new tasks.

Angela Kanein
Area Manager Iberian Peninsula

Andrea Kanein, at aream since 2009 is responsible for asset management for the Spanish portfolio: the improvement of assets, the reliability, security and financial results of the assets. Andrea Kanein lived in Spain for many years and worked for a developer of solar plants.

Manfred Kemper has worked in international consultation and management of market leading property developers and initiators of property funds for over 20 years. For more than ten years he has also dealt with investments in renewable energies, and since then has helped developers and investors in the search for and selection of suitable projects and capital investments.

Thomas Schied

Thomas Schied is an experienced manager and consultant in the energy and infrastructure industry. Prior to his current role at aream, he led for more than 20 years various business units at multinational corporations such as RWE and E.ON. He was responsible for developing new sustainable business areas in the energy, heating, and mobility markets, expanding business into new markets, and leading the international gas procurement. As a keynote speaker and specialist author, he advocates for innovative approaches to the energy transition.

Clemens Susen
Investment Director

Clemens Susen has international investment and transaction experience. Before he came to aream in 2017, Clemens Susen worked at EY and THS Partners, where he was mainly involved in private equity and financial market transactions.
