aream Group SE has brokered a long-term electricity supply contract for a project company within the Stadtwerke Halle group, which is managed by EVH GmbH.

The Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) covers 25 MW from a ground-mounted photovoltaic plant and thus represents part of the solar park’s total capacity. The agreement runs for ten years, thereby securing electricity revenues for this segment over that period. The buyer is an energy supplier based in Berlin.

aream has supported the project company throughout the entire process. “This marks a continuation of our successful collaboration with Stadtwerke Halle,” says René Kautz, CCO of aream Group SE, for which municipal utilities are a strategic focus. “We aim to establish ourselves as a partner for municipal utilities and further expand our PPA business. We see particular potential in co-location projects that combine photovoltaics and energy storage,” says Kautz.
