aream Group SE has signed a power purchase agreement for the Kahsel solar power plant in Brandenburg, which is being built and operated by a subsidiary of Stadtwerke Halle. “A Berlin-based energy supplier will purchase all the solar power generated by the plant over a period of ten years“,explains René Kautz, CCO of aream Group SE.

The Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for the solar park in Brandenburg covers a capacity of 19 MWp and was finalised within just three months. “We developed innovative PPA structures and negotiated them efficiently“, says Kautz. “We are delighted to have supported such a dynamic municipal utility in this transaction.” Thomas Hollstein, Managing Director of the solar park company: “Thanks to targeted negotiations and the constructive cooperation of all parties involved, we were able to achieve an effective and strategically appropriate solution very quickly.”

The transaction marks the start of a broader collaboration between aream and the Halle-based group of companies. A second mandate is already in progress.
