Recurring maintenance as the key to long-term, stable production

Last week, TÜV Rheinland carried out a recurring sheet and machine inspection at two plants of the aream Group, which is repeated every two to four years. These inspections are indispensable to ensure the long-term success of the assets. During these inspections, all components of the nacelle as well as the rotor blades are technically inspected and examined for damage.

For this purpose, specially trained experts ascend to the hub height in order to then rappel down to the rotor blade and check the outer skin for damage. Minor damage is repaired immediately. In the case of the two wind turbines concerned, the TÜV was able to determine that the turbines were in good to very good condition.

These recurring inspections help us as asset managers in the wind and photovoltaic sector to guarantee the production stability of our power plants.
