At its most recent meeting, the European Central Bank decided to include climate protection as a further objective of its monetary policy. "This is a good step", says Markus W. Voigt, CEO of aream Group. "Even better than formulating vague targets would be to proceed as the Japanese central bank is doing." In any case, both new and existing investments in renewables will increase in value.
What charging stations are for e-mobility, storage solutions are for renewable energies: the last bottleneck to be removed. "Politics has written a great success story here, now the next stage must be pushed forward", says Markus W. Voigt, CEO of the aream Group.
In June, many people in Germany complained about the heat - but the sun still did not shine more than usual. This was also reflected in energy production from photovoltaics, which remained within expectations. Wind power, on the other hand, lagged behind. "For investors, diversification therefore remains the trump card", says Markus W. Voigt, CEO of the aream Group.
The demand for green electricity is constantly increasing. To prove that this electricity comes from renewable energy sources, suppliers need certificates of origin, for which a separate market has developed. In the wake of the Corona pandemic, prices collapsed, but things are now climbing steeply again. "An interesting market segment is emerging here that opens up opportunities for investors", says Markus W. Voigt, CEO of the aream Group.
